We were blessed with a beautiful warm sunny day and a total field of 84 ladies played in the 4BBB. Withington Golf Club provided us with a course in great condition, a gazebo on the 1st tee, along with Gentlemen starters and spotters for the 1st hole, a tricky Par 3. The first tee time was 10.10am, in which Lady President, Maggie Morley teed off. The final group set off at 1.30pm and finished their round at approximately 6.45pm. Lady President was joined by two of the Withington Senior ladies for afternoon tea, along with VP’s Ann Chalmers and Jackie Foy.

1st place were Noelle Morris (HI 29 playing 30) and Kairen Seaton (HI 36.3 playing 36) from Hale Golf Club with a winning score of 44 stableford points. 2nd place went to Sue Bury (HI 16.4 playing 17) and Nicky Markland (HI 12.4 playing 13) from Prestbury Golf Club with 41 stableford points, narrowly beating the ladies in 3rd place on a count back. 3rd place were Kim Fletcher (HI 34.8 playing 36) and Liz Jackson (HI 28.6 playing 29) from Greenmount Golf Club with 41 stableford points.
