It was a bright sunny day and the teams kept quite good times with the field moving fairly well. 23 teams entered with 3 teams on the waiting list. The Lady President, Mrs Maggie Morley’s, team led out the field on a well presented course. All entrants commented that they had enjoyed their day at Lymm.

The mixed team from Leigh Golf Club Helen Pennington (Leigh GC), Carol Helme (Bolton Old Links), Deb Holland (Leigh GC) and Abigail Bearne (Leigh GC) were the winners with a card playoff for 2nd and 3rd. The team from Chapel – en – le Frith were 2nd and Westhoughton 3rd.
