Northenden was hit by devastating floods on New Year’s Day causing enormous damage to the clubhouse and course. After several months of course recovery and clubhouse refurbishment Northenden Golf Course successfully staged this year’s 4BBB.

There were plenty of deserved compliments from the visitors to Northenden about the hard work done and still to be done in the coming months. The course was in excellent condition.

The trophies and prizes were presented by our MDLGA President Jill Rose (Ringway) who gave deserved thanks to all at Northenden Golf Club, the MDLGA officials and the players for making this an excellent day for golf in all aspects.

“I’d like to thank Janis and Linda for organising the competition, and committee members for managing the raffle and acting as starters. Also, Hazel Foster the Northenden Chair who was always on hand overseeing the day- well done to you all.” – Jill Rose

The support of the Northenden Golf Club was exemplary, and our thanks go to all of their staff. They provided technical support from 8.00 am which continued through the day and they also provided 2 members to assist as starters. A special thanks to my deputy competition organiser, Linda Sandle, for her invaluable support on the day and who will organise 4BBB at Stand GC 2026.
