This years finals were held at Pike Fold Golf Club on Friday 6th September. The teams who battled through to the semi finals were, Heyrose Golf Club v Accrington Golf Club, Bramall Park Golf Club v Westhoughton Golf Club.

After an early start for all, the Semifinals started at 9am with the first pair from Heyrose v Accrington leading the field of 7 players from each team seen off by Lady President Ethel Dawson.

Both matches were hard fought and the victors were Heyrose with a 4v3 win over Accrington, and Bramall Park were beaten 3v4 by  Westhoughton.

The final between Heyrose and Westhoughton started at 2.30pm. Heyrose were giving Westhoughton 32 shots. The scores started to come in and it was nip and tuck all the way until the final pairing came in with a victory for Heyrose.

The Heyrose team was Lara Richbell, Ashley Harris, Jane Bothwell, Sabrina Duncan, Sarah Gordon, Steph White, Pam Sehmi and reserve Kathy Smith.
